Genius Kid's Party Hacks

You’re having a kids party and want it to be fabulous but there must be an easier way to create a lasting impression. We’ve got some really great party hacks for you to try. They’ll add a little extra to your party without breaking the bank or taking up to much of your valuable time.
Balloon Hacks
Glow Stick In A Balloon
As the nights draw in you may find your party takes place in the dark. Add a special glow by adding a glow stick to each balloon. They glow for up to 12 hours.
Easy Balloon Path
Make a balloon path really easy by anchoring the balloons into the ground with golf tees. (I knew golf must be useful for something!)
Hanging Balloons
This idea is sometimes used at weddings but is very effective in different colours. Before hanging the balloon on a ribbon pop a marble inside so they hang down beautifully.
Ice Balloons
Pop your water balloons in the freezer in colours that match the theme of the party. Add them to your drinks bucket to keep drinks colourful and cool.
Bunting Hacks
Make Bunting Out of Straws
Forgot to buy bunting? String some straws together for a very acceptable alternative.
Heart Bunting
Use 2 strips of wrapping paper per heart and a little glue. Then thread together. Cute looking decorations that look great at a princess party.
Party Food Hacks
Fairy Cookie Hack
Make cookies for your fairy friends with Cheerios. A little added frosted fun at your fairy party.
Cake Decorating
Don’t struggle to write or draw on cakes any longer. Use cookie cutters with sprinkles to make the job a whole lot easier.
Minecraft Cakes Made Easy
Use a template to make producing Minecraft cupcakes much easier!
Drink Party Hacks
Light Up Drinks Bowl
Great for tween disco’s, pop some glow sticks in a bowl of ice and add bottles of non-alcoholic drink. Cool and funky in one!
Name Tags for Drinks
Never mix up the party goers drinks again by adding labels to your cups. Better still get the kids to design their own. Save money and the planet by using a lot less cups.
Hot Chocolate Hack
For a smaller gathering or for those winter parties (or maybe just for me this weekend), freeze cream and add it to hot chocolate – delicious!
